The Peyton the Great Literacy Dreams Event in Partnership with Council President Kenyatta Johnson is a captivating event that aims to transform the reading landscape for children. At the heart of this initiative is the Peyton the Great character, designed not only to foster strong reading habits but also to underscore essential values such as diversity, empowerment, resilience, and the power of dreaming. Through the Peyton the Great Literacy Dreams Event, we will provide engaging stories, interactive activities, and valuable resources to children and their families. During the event participants will be immersed with literacy-centric activities that include: • Literacy Dream board creation activity • Interactive Story Time with local authors • Music and Literacy Connectivity • Positive Affirmations and Wellbeing • Creative Writing Introduction Workshop This event is in partnership with Council President Kenyatta Johnson and ACE Achieve College Education.
