Bringing Literacy, Confidence, and Life Skills to Children in Underserved Communities
The Peyton the Great Literacy Dreams Initiative is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Truist Foundation to support children in underserved communities across Camden, Salem, and Cumberland Counties. With this support, the initiative is providing 250 Peyton the Great books and 10 engaging Storytime Visits to 10 classrooms, inspiring students to read confidently, explore their creativity, and achieve academic success.
In addition to literacy activities, Truist team members will participate in the classroom visits, delivering age-appropriate financial literacy lessons that introduce students to foundational concepts in money management. These hands-on experiences help children build practical life skills while reinforcing a love of learning.
“Our mission is to make literacy accessible and inspiring for every child,” said Terrenny Robinson, Founder of Peyton the Great Literacy Dreams. “Truist’s partnership has been transformative, allowing us to remove barriers, empower young learners, and foster both academic and life skills that will benefit them for years to come.”
